Social Actions SundayS for the Youth at LOUU occur once a month, usually on the third Sunday.  The lower and upper elementary classes are combined for the children to hear about a local, national or international charity, service organization or service project.  Most months the children work on a project related to that topic.  Besides this monthly social action project, the students are working on a year-long project that they design, implement and promote themselves.
